How It All Began

It all began with a lamp and a squeegee in 1993. A high school student with an eye for design would sit at a desk and sketch out pictures for friends in local organizations. Using a lamp and a permanent marker, he would burn images into screens and print t-shirts on the floor of his bedroom. Today, his high school side job has come full circle to a full time business.

1996 marks the first form of equipment purchased. It was a four color manual press with a 6 ft. drier. The storefront was located in the small town of Porter, Indiana and began the pursuit to becoming a competitive business in the area. Most jobs consisted of local bands and school athletics, but slowly, Frog's Eye was growing into something more. 2003 marks the year of warehouse expansion. This is where Frog’s Eye would house its new 8 color manual and 6 color automatic presses with new 16 ft. and 8 ft. driers. This is also the year where employees would be hired and graphic artists would be used. State of the art inks and tools would be used to make an even higher quality product. Customer satisfaction and one on one attention was never changed.

A small investment in 1996 turned into the lucrative business of today. 2007 introduced the expansion into the embroidery element; beginning the year with a single head and finishing off the year with a six head. Introduction into new environment-friendly inks and safer materials used within the factory also occurred, keeping workers safe and customers happy. Frog’s Eye is trusted by hundreds of businesses and organizations nationwide. The ultimate goal of Frog’s Eye is to be a top name when needing a garment for any event and having a reputation for individual customer attention. Today, we are striving to reach that goal by printing over 500,000 pieces a year nationwide. 2008 begins this website to strive to reach that goal.
